All Quiet on the Western Front

Next March 8 release "Collapse into now," the fifteenth album of American rock band REM, in the breach for over thirty years. Prior to the official record, the trio surprised Mills, Stipe, Buck has made watering in the mouths of many fans around the world, allowing the first of January to download the free Discoverer and publishing a few weeks later a short video on youtube trailer containing a summary of a few seconds of each track. In February and released their first single, for the European market "Uberlin" to the American "Mine smell like honey" video with attached self-defeating, in which Michael Stipe is thrown, rolled down the stairs by four thugs dressed in white. Today I listened to the album streaming, accingerò me to write my first impressions work for one of the most anticipated musical this spring. Dopo la pazza gioia, per un attimo  rallenta il ritmo adrenalinico per lasciar spazio a tre ballatone commoventi in perfetto stile remmiano(“Uberlin” ,”It happened today” con la partecipazione di Eddie Vedder,“Oh my heart” con intro di fiati made in New Orleans e momento amarcord con l’elegante, never forgotten, mandolin, star of the hit single '91 years' Losing My Religion "). Now the mind boundless, collapsed in the deepest phase of sleep-dream, can only wish for, hope for simple beauty, a sweet melody daily poignant ("Every day is yours to win"). Then look out the window and admire the unbelieving eyes of a child the peach tree with fruit just bloomed ("Mine smell like honey"). Feel as strong as ever, eager to capture the fleeting moment, with his friends decide to hurl in garden attack a new dawn, tired of playing defense ("Alligator_Aviator_Autopilot_Antimatter" with the rebel girl Peaches). In the background, the desire to play, playing jokes ("That someone is you"). Among these atmospheres, sensations of the past, future, present ("Walk it back"), it's time to let go the first stirrings of a comparison between us and the immense world, in the blue painted blue ("Blue" by rock poet Patti Smith). The last cigarette is over, is dying slowly and the train arrived at the bus stop, all that remains is to rethink the trip with a smile and desire to do it again soon.
