I pomeriggi ,dopo scuola(cavoli,i Prats andavano ancora alle medie!), si ritrovavano per suonare, il tempo passava piacevolmente tra una nota e l’altra, tra risate, sorrisi, stonature, assoli , scherzi. Un gioco, un divertimento, che ben presto si trasformò in qualcosa di più. Nel 1979 producono un demo tape e lo inviano alla nota casa discografica indie di Edimburgo Fast Product(che nella sua scuderia annoverava un cavallo di razza come gli Human League). Forti del contratto discografico su Fast product, partecipano all’EP Earcom 1. John Peel, conduttore radiofonico della BBC, li nota e offre ai ragazzi un’occasione d’oro: registrare una session radiofonica.
