Too young to rock? Peel non se ne pente, anzi si dimostra entusiasta, colto dalla gioia dichiara “ questa session mi ha messo di buon umore per tutto il weekend,è fantastico, una grande session!”.Giusto time to collect the seeds scattered seeds nell'orticello home, the first changes occur in the line-up (adding a third guitarist, Elspeth McLeod and the replacement of bassist Jeff Maguire with Tom Robinson). More determined than ever before Prats in 1980, affecting three new songs on Tapezine, Spasmodic productions (Walking Dead, Sycophant, The Alliance) and released an EP "The 1990s Pop EP for Rough Trade Music, containing four small candy post-punk-disco Pope, Nothing, TV Set, and Nobody Noticed. The song Disco Pope gets a good radio airplay, especially by the now-fan supporter John Peel. Supported not least by success at home and in the U.S. college radio Group republishes on Rough Trade The Alliance and the song composed a new song, General Davis, who will become their flagship timeless. In 1981, the end of the much-loved school determines reluctantly as the best wedding the band split. The prats, in fact no longer exist, but does not stop the publication of the material record. In 2004, the Hollywood director Jonathan Demme uses General Davis in the opening credits of the movie "Manchurian Candidate" (with Denzel Washington and Meryl Streep), provoking a return of interest in the band, implemented together in the compilation "Now That's What I Call Prats "(2005, One Little Indian).
