Dopo il successo di vendite del promettente EP “The See See” (2008) e di publlico negli elettrizzanti live-set, esce finalmente “Late morning light” , album di debutto del monicker beat-folk-ps ichedelico londinese The See See . Inglesi di nascita, americani per indole e adottati dallo zio Jack White ( Raconteurs ), i See See are so close atmospheres seventies ( Pretty Things, Buffalo Springfield ), but remember only occasionally the sound of the land of Albion ( Deceiver Retriever, And I wonder ). More often in their songs resonate unexpectedly reverberations of banjo and harmonica, as in the best tradition of American country-folk ( Powers of ten, half man and a horse's head, Late morning light ). A good debut, full of folk, but not limited to, hard by the multifaceted permeate, enriched by delicate veins unaware, naive, spontaneous, delightful to psychedelic ( Tomorrow as today, Keep your head ). As usual, nothing new on the horizon, but fortunately the See See not sound cloying or derivative, far from it: "Late Morning Light" will be a pleasant listening, under the glow of the late light mattut ina sky over your garden.
